Counselling* is the mudroom of
gospel ministry.

Help us

What has counselling global done?

1. Trained 10 new counsellors who have received counselling certifications in the uk.

This organization is very inclusive towards all cultures and races, and as a Black woman, I’ve always felt included and valued. It’s great to be part of such a multicultural environment. Training with Charity and Stephen has helped me grow so much as a therapist. It feels more like a family, and I’m really thankful for everything they’ve done for me.

Nadia Umwali - Brighton England

2. Reduced counselling fees by $185,000 for over 3,800 counselling sessions.

“The work that Charity and Stephen have initiated has given counsellors like me the opportunity to serve people with their challenges and needs across geographical boundaries. Their work offers the rare space of bringing together the healing of Jesus and the psychological framework of responding to mental health needs. It is a privilege to ally with them in bringing to life the essence of Isaiah 61 in the lives of the wounded, broken and bound people - just like you and me.”

3. provided our first master’s degree scholarship and supervision certification

"It's my privilege to work with Charity and Stephen since 2021 and be a part of the diverse pool of counsellors, engaging and empowering clients beyond cultures and socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. I've experienced a supportive and nurturing environment in my work with them."

Pratima Mathews - London, England

2. training the next generation of counsellors to be culturally fluent,
theologically astute and clinically excellent

“I come from [Zimbabwe] where professional counselling is not easily accessible. Stephen and Charity are committed to making counselling accessible to anyone who needs it and providing a way to help marginalized communities. They regularly facilitate training sessions and workshops, inviting experts in diverse counselling areas. I have found these sessions invaluable because of the depth and breadth of knowledge that I get from them.”

Ruvimbo Makwiramiti - Derby, England

3. serving as a pastor in our south Asian church in London, england.

“I was baptized at [our local church] in May 2022 at the age of 74. I experienced love, warmth, patience, and generosity at our church. If our church were not present in the heart of the mainly Gujarati [Indian] neighborhood, it is no exaggeration that thousands of Gujaratis would have had little awareness of the Word of God.”

Bhikhu Shah - London, England

What will counselling global do?

  1. launch our first counselling trainee class based in Asia in 2025-2026.

“What you are doing [with Counselling Global] is the future of missions because it’s decentralized.”

Indian psychiatrist and ministry leader in an undisclosed area in India.

2. create a scalable fund not only for counselling but also for church
planting and humanitarian good in the name of Christ.

“We’ve been honored to support and partner with Stephen and Charity since 2021 as they have realized their vision to bring access to affordable, caring, professional and culturally-fluent counselling to hurting individuals. We are helping Counselling Global implement the training and support structures needed to carefully scale the organization to help more people and empower the global church to prioritize the vulnerable.”

3. Create international hubs of care so that our clients can move past the
mudroom of the gospel into the living room of the church.

“I am thrilled to endorse Stephen and Charity Jones in their new venture, Counselling Global. Their past efforts in providing affordable, contextualized professional counselling have been life-saving for countless individuals in need. Now, with their plan to train cohorts of clinicians, they will empower even more people to receive the mental health care they deserve. As Dr. Diane Langberg aptly said, "trauma is the mission field of the 21st century." We urgently need a dedicated force of well-trained counsellors capable of addressing psychosocial trauma and delivering care in the language and context of those who need it most.“
